I bought this for traveling, as I use a French press at home, and I think it’ll do just what I wanted it to. It was pricier than other single cup drip options, but I think the permanent filter will pay for itself in not having to buy filters and have that extra burden on the environment (manufacturing and packing the filters).

I bought this for my boyfriend as a birthday present. He has been very happy with it! I would say to put enough grounds in to just cover the filter. The coffee comes out pretty strong that way. If you put too much coffee in, the water will take forever to filter through. I picked this filter out because it’s reusable. It has been very easy to clean and use. It’s perfect for those who don’t need more than one cup of coffee first thing in the morning.
